| I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey and in the '70s was almost immediately immersed in dance music. My earliest influence was the music I heard everywhere from radio stations WKTU and WBLS, as well as clubbing well before the legal age at such legendary dance venues as The Funhouse, XENON, Studio 54 and Elegante.
At the birth of house music, I was already well on my way to a reputation as skillful and talented DJ at house parties, as well as for my encyclopedic knowledge of dance music. I soon graduated to bars and larger venues in Newark and Elizabeth.
My near 25 years exposure to all flavors of dance music have given me a depth of knowledge that results, when combined with my own creative knack and skill as a DJ, in some epic sets, that never fail to be new and danceable creations in their own right.
I specialize in deep and soulful house, funk, soul, and classic disco. My blend of music spans nearly three decades, yet never fails to sound original and cutting edge.

| How did you get into DJing? | in 1980 at a house party i was asked to play records while a friend who was djing went off with a girl he meet. he left me behind to play what ever music he had in a crate. |
