| DJ D2nyce is on of the must Humble DJ there is. He was fascinated by music at an early age. Influenced by the Caribbean culture and having a Haitian back ground made him the man that is today, showing him that good music come from humanity it self. Born and raised on the broader line of Flatbush and crown height in Brooklyn New York is where he fell in love with reggae, soca, hip hop and all of the music that the world had to offer. This is where he learned how to appreciate different culture. He begin playing at local bars, block parties and house party for friends is where he got his name d2nyce because of his charisma and technique, so when ever he would stop a record and said pull up instead of the crowd repeating “puuuuuulll up” they would say “toooooooo nice |
| How did you get into DJing? | DJ D2nyce which is pronouns dee.too.nice) it all started out with two Gemini turntables and an old beat up mixer that he found under the kitchen table. It was around the mid 90s when he decided that he wanted to become a D j, for he had witnessed a local D j tearing up an annual block party in front of his building, which always took place right after the Caribbean day parade. Their were hundreds of people dancing to the seductive sound of Reggae/Dancehall music. The crowd seem to be enjoying every minute of it, dancers were every where from the middle of the streets to the side walk. The D j had such a impact on the crowd that he was literally control them with his word and selection of music, for this had made d2nyce realize that it takes practices and patients to become a marvelous D J. Besides in those days Labor Day rock all night long, until Rudolph Giuliani was elected as mayor lol. |
