Having travelled through many european destinations to dj, the U.S.A is still an untapped resourse to me , along side dj'n i am a producer (IN THE MAKING) , from my past lots of people that i have met have had an influence on my musical direction such as Farley JackmasterFunk , Kenny Dope , David Morales , D Ramerez,Lisa Marie experience - aka " Dean Mariot " Chris Lake,
My first record, yes i did say record not Mp3 was Whistle - " buggin " it might not have stood the test of time as some of my tunes but started me into the world of Hip Hop, then into House music with Todd Terry. As i was growing up my influence's came from my peers such is the many geanre's of music that i adore now including all dance , house, electro, techno, trance, drum and bass, speed garage, jungle, hip hop,r&b,bassline, dubstep, grime, hard house & along side some of the words greatest musicans - stevie wonder, james brown, isaic hayes, nina samone, ray charles & bands such as The Rolling Stones , The Who , The Beatles, and many more are alll in my collection but in verious forms.
How did you get into DJing?
I started Dj'ing at the ripe old age of 16,i did not have a clue how to beat match but after many hours praticing or" wasting my time " as my mum said (Sorry Mum..)at the time i finally got there and whilst on a pirate music staion called Mighty Fm i got my first real gig at an 18th birthday party, after getting good vibes from the set i had spent hours putting together it started all coming around , my first real paid gig at Blue's in central London. . . woow, those where the days, the rest as they say is history
What do you love most about DJing?
The Music is what has kept me motivated to DJ along side the people and friends that i have gained through it, plus the way music has progressed.
What is your most memorable DJing experience?
Woow thats a hard one,i would probably have to say even though it's cheesie as hell but the party i played when i meant my partner and the mother of my children, yeah that is cheesie, as for paid gigs Ibiza was good back in the day when there were'nt any roofs on nite clubs on the terrace at amnesia. . . .
What are you future goals as a DJ?
To conquer the world, ok im not pnky and the brain, to have at least one residency in a poular club or bar in the U.S.A within the next 3 years - ANY OFFERS.. . . .ANYONE, ok joking aside i would also like to produce my first album with my friends in the bizz.
What do you do when you are not DJing?
Most of my spare time at the moment is spent with my 10 week old son and before he was born my 6 year old girl georgia & elle her 8 year old " skin and blister " (sister) when im not with them and there mum takes over its record shopping and walking with the ocassional practice of my Wing Chun - " KUNG FU ".
